I just finished reading the book and then listening to the abridged CD version of the book.

If you are responsible for the EXECUTION of a business model, like I am, this book is a must have.

It totally validates what I have been preaching for years:

1) Execution is a Discipline.
2) Execution is the primary job of the business leader.
3) Execution must be a core element of your company's culture.

The book goes on to discuss three core building blocks:

1) The Leader's Seven Essential Behaviors

I) Know your people and your business
II) Insist on realism
III) Set clear goals
IV) Follow through
V) Reward the doers
VI) Expand your people's capabilities through coaching
VII) Know yourself

2) The Four Keys to Creating An Execution Driven Culture

I) Link reward to performance
II) Develop the social software of execution
III) Recognize the importance of robust dialogue
IV) Understand that leaders get the behavior they exhibit

And the most important block -

3) Put the Right People In The Right Jobs

This is so good I'm going to give you some quotes right out the book.

I love this book. It draws the line in the sand.
