When it comes to writing, it's true that Elizabeth Cowan Neeld did write the book. It's called, naturally enough, Writing. In fact, it's now in it's second edition. She has also written Readings for Writing.

These books have been ordered for classes in hundreds of colleges and universities, including Harvard, the University of Texas, Hawaii, Maine, Kentucky, Alaska, and Florida, as well as Brigham Young, Louisiana State, California State, and Boston University, to mention just a few.

Listed in The World's Who's Who of Women and many other celebrity publications, Dr. Neeld's specialty is teaching others to write, and write well.

She has consulted with the U.S. Congress, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Danford Foundation, state and local governments, and scores of corporations in the areas of communication, writing, and the humanities.

She has worked as an executive for an international communications organization in New York City. Formerly professor of rhetoric at Texas A & M, Dr. Neeld has edited three national communications periodicals.

Dr. Neeld is also an entrepreneur. With her husband Jerele Neeld, she directs the activities of Neeld & Neeld, Inc., an educational enterprise. She enjoys teaching executives and professionals how to improve their writing, and the feedback she has received from these seminars has enabled her to fine-tune her Nightingale-Conant audiocassette program Yes! You Can Write
